\u00ab Nos r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que les vaches \u00e9lev\u00e9es dans des stalles individuelles avec un sol en b\u00e9ton dur passent plus de temps par jour debout sans se nourrir et ont tendance \u00e0 passer moins de temps couch\u00e9es. Le temps consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l'alimentation n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9. La r\u00e9duction du temps pass\u00e9 couch\u00e9 \u00e9tait principalement due \u00e0 une diminution de la fr\u00e9quence des p\u00e9riodes de repos : la dur\u00e9e moyenne des p\u00e9riodes de repos et de station debout \u00e9tait en fait plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e sur les sols en b\u00e9ton que sur les sols en caoutchouc. Ainsi, le principal effet du sol plus souple \u00e9tait d'augmenter la volont\u00e9 des vaches de changer de posture, c'est-\u00e0-dire de se coucher et de se lever. Une fois que les vaches \u00e9taient couch\u00e9es ou debout, elles continuaient \u00e0 rester couch\u00e9es ou debout pendant une p\u00e9riode plus courte sur le sol plus souple. Les r\u00e9sultats actuels confirment ceux de Haley et al. (2001), qui ont observ\u00e9 un sch\u00e9ma similaire sur une p\u00e9riode plus courte. Les r\u00e9sultats actuels sugg\u00e8rent que les bovins ne se sont pas adapt\u00e9s aux sols plus durs, du moins au cours des 16 premi\u00e8res semaines de lactation. Ces r\u00e9sultats confirment les conclusions relatives aux stalles libres, dans lesquelles il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les sols souples augmentaient le temps pass\u00e9 couch\u00e9 et l'acceptabilit\u00e9 des stalles (Tucker et al., 2003 ; Wagner-Storch et al., 2003 ; Fulwider et Palmer 2004). \u00bb<\/p>\n
