\u00ab Des travaux ant\u00e9rieurs men\u00e9s par Fulwider et Palmer en 2003 ont montr\u00e9 que les vaches passent autant de temps couch\u00e9es dans des stalles \u00e9quip\u00e9es de matelas bien con\u00e7us que dans des stalles \u00e9quip\u00e9es de sable, mais qu'elles passent plus de temps debout dans les stalles \u00e9quip\u00e9es de matelas.
