Die Gestaltung der Stallungen ist f\u00fcr das Wohlergehen von Milchk\u00fchen von entscheidender Bedeutung. Der Einfluss der Bodenbeschaffenheit auf die Bewegungsf\u00e4higkeit von Milchvieh wurde erstmals 1997 von Albright beschrieben. In der Folge wurde vermutet, dass Bodenmerkmale wie Abrasivit\u00e4t und H\u00e4rte, die zu unzureichender Reibung und Traktion f\u00fchren \u2013 wie sie bei Betonb\u00f6den (CF) vorliegen \u2013, sich negativ auf die Klauengesundheit und die Bewegungsf\u00e4higkeit von Milchk\u00fchen auswirken. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde berichtet, dass die Verwendung von gepolsterten Bodenbel\u00e4gen, wie z. B. Gummib\u00f6den (RF), die Gangart verbessert.
