Die vorliegende Studie wurde an 18 laktierenden Kreuzungsk\u00fchen durchgef\u00fchrt, die nach dem Zufallsprinzip in zwei homogene Gruppen aufgeteilt wurden. Die K\u00fche der Versuchsgruppe wurden in einem Stall mit Gummimattenboden gehalten, w\u00e4hrend die K\u00fche der Kontrollgruppe auf Betonboden gehalten wurden. Ziel war es, die Auswirkungen von Gummimattenb\u00f6den auf Hygiene, Fortbewegung sowie Sprunggelenk- und Knieverletzungen zu untersuchen. Die Bewertung der Sauberkeit, der Fortbewegung sowie der Sprunggelenk- und Knieverletzungen erfolgte nach Standardmethoden im zweiw\u00f6chentlichen Abstand durch zwei Forscher, die eine Bewertung von 1 bis 4 vergaben. Das Ergebnis zeigte, dass die Gesamtbewertung der Fortbewegung auf Gummimatten (1,33 \u00b1 0,07) signifikant niedriger war (p < 0,01) als bei K\u00fchen auf Betonboden (1,70 \u00b1 0,10). Die durchschnittliche Gesamthygiene-Bewertung f\u00fcr K\u00fche auf Gummimatten betrug 1,66 \u00b1 0,09 und f\u00fcr K\u00fche auf Betonb\u00f6den 2,00 \u00b1 0,08, w\u00e4hrend die Gesamtbewertung f\u00fcr Sprunggelenk- und Knieverletzungen bei K\u00fchen auf Gummimatten und Betonb\u00f6den 1,21 \u00b1 0,04 bzw. 1,90 \u00b1 0,05 betrug. Die Hygiene- und Sprunggelenk- und Knieverletzungswerte zwischen beiden Gruppen waren ebenfalls signifikant (p<0,01). Die Versuchsergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass Gummimatten Lahmheitsprobleme reduzieren k\u00f6nnen. Durch die Verwendung von Gummimatten kann das Risiko von Sprunggelenk- und Knieverletzungen verringert und das Wohlbefinden von Kreuzungsk\u00fchen verbessert werden.<\/p>\n

The present study was conducted on 18 lactating crossbred cows by dividing them into two homogeneous groups randomly. The cows of treatment group were kept in shed having rubber mat flooring, whereas the cows of control were kept on concrete floor. The objective was to study the effect of rubber mat flooring on hygiene, locomotion, hock and knee injury scoring. Cleanliness, locomotion and hock and knee injury scoring were done by standard methods at fortnight interval by two researchers by assigning 1-4 scores. Result revealed that overall locomotion score on rubber mat (1.33\u00b10.07) was significantly lower (p<0.01) than cows on concrete floor (1.70\u00b10.10). Mean overall hygiene score for the cow kept in rubber mat was 1.66\u00b10.09 and 2.00\u00b10.08 in cows kept on concrete floor, whereas the overall hock and knee injury score in cows on rubber mat and concrete floor was 1.21\u00b10.04 and 1.90\u00b10.05, respectively. The hygiene scoring and hock and knee injury scoring between both groups was also significant (p<0.01). Experimental findings suggested that rubber mat may reduce lameness problem.
